Christmas Comes to VBR

On Friday evening nearly 50 members of the railway and their partners, attended an excellent festive Christmas meal at the Berkeley Arms. A good time was had by all, which gave everyone the chance to socialise and perhaps meet other new members of the railway.

VBR have recently been donated an LMS signal post, complete with both distance & stop boards by John & Rosemary Meek. Austerity No 15 arrives form Bitton where it has been working on the Avon Valley Railway for the last few years. The boiler is now in need of some work and re-tubing, so some of our volunteers will help to strip the loco in order to crane out the boiler for repair.
