September 20, 2018 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Berkeley Arms Hotel
Canonbury St
Berkeley GL13 9BG

Gordon is a VoBR member and volunteer. His 37 years railway career started in 1963 as a Junior Porter on Wigan North Western station and ended in 2000 as Managing Consultant of his own railway contracting company. His experience covers Railway Signalling, Station Supervision, Area and Regional Operations and Traincrew Management and Railways Board Senior Safety Auditor and Accident Investigator.
He will talk about his first 10 years as a railwayman taken from his Kindle e-Book which is a recommended read as all sales profits go to VoBR.

During the evening we usually have a break for a raffle and is an opportunity to get a drink.
